January 27, 2023; Virginia Beach, VA – The nationally recognized healthcare IT consulting firm, Divurgent, proudly announces that Rebecca Woods has joined the Client Services Team. Woods will serve as Senior Vice President of Delivery.
As Senior Vice President of Delivery, Rebecca will be responsible for overall engagement success, quality, and customer satisfaction across all of our Centers of Excellence. She will also drive solution innovation and process improvement internally to ensure Divurgent’s products and services align with customer needs and helps keep them competitive and ahead of the curve.

In addition to her role as SVP of Delivery, Divurgent is excited to share that Woods will also host Divurgent’s podcast, The Vurge, a bi-weekly show that will cover healthcare’s biggest challenges and how innovative leaders are using tech to overcome them – new episodes coming March 2023.
Woods is an accomplished senior executive, with over 16 years of experience in health IT and healthcare administration. She is the founder and Virtual Chief Information Officer of Bluebird Tech Solutions, and the Founder of Bluebird Leaders. With experiences spanning from startups, nonprofits, rural health networks, regional hospital systems, and federally qualified health centers, Woods boasts a successful track record of technical implementations that include EMR, telemedicine, remote patient learning, and central access centers. Woods previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the University of Vermont’s Porter Medical Center, and Vice President of Provider Services for Lake Region General Healthcare, a network of 25 ambulatory primary care and specialty practices. She is passionate about bridging the gap between technological and clinical mindsets, and is uniquely accustomed to partnering with frontline providers in order to maximize efficiency and drive process improvement.
